Houston DBT Center stands at the forefront of mental health therapy, specializing in both Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We offer therapy both in-person at our center in Houston, TX & online through telehealth to all residents of Texas. Our programs include intensive outpatient programs for adults, intensive outpatient programs for adolescents, and weekly skills groups with individual sessions as well as parenting sessions. We offer a specialized program for parents of anxious children. For young children, our focus is helping parents help their children. We offer family sessions and a family skills group as well.

DBT Center Training Institute

The DBT Center also has a nonprofit division– DBT Center Training Institute.  The Training Institute offers practicum placements for students completing their their clinical training, either at the doctoral or the master’s level. The Institute students, working under supervision,  offer low cost and pro-bono services to a limited number of clients in need. If you are seeking low cost services, and are willing to work with a student under supervision, please call our office to determine if there are openings in this program.

 

Katy DBT Center

If you live on the west side of Houston, please contact the Katy DBT Center. DBT Center therapist, Joe Pentony, is the director, and offers services to both adults and adolescents. The Katy DBT Center does not accept insurance, but will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company.

 

DBTWise

DBTWise is the training company for the DBT Center. We offer training and supervision in DBT and supervision in RO DBT. We also offer introductory courses in RO DBT. If you’d like to learn more about validation, therapy interfering behavior, DBT Skills, or RO DBT Skills, call us to set you a training or attend one of the trainings we offer. In addition to online webinar  trainings we also offer on demand courses that you can complete on your own time.
