Curby Rogers is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with extensive experience providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Behavioral Health at Freed-Hardeman University.
Curby is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrates these evidence-based approaches to support clients in processing trauma, building emotional regulation skills, and fostering meaningful change. She is deeply committed to increasing access to quality mental health care, particularly within marginalized communities, and works to create safe, empowering spaces for healing and growth.
Grounded in the belief that resilience can be cultivated, Curby encourages individuals to reclaim their narratives and shape their present despite past challenges. Beyond her clinical work, she has a passion for travel, having visited over 25 countries, which enriches her global perspective and cultural humility. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she contributes to ongoing community service and outreach efforts
